We just updated to Lion (finally!), and Punakea works like a charm. The OpenMeta guys have also confirmed that their framework is running fine on Lion, so there is no reason to keep riding the Leopard - get ready for the Big Cat!

We did not upgrade to Lion yet, but we have a few users who upgraded and said it should work. If you want to make sure it works, we'll upgrade in the next few days and test Punakea's Lion compatibility - then we'll let you know for sure.

Rest assured, though, even if it should not work as expected from day one, we will definitely fix it!

For all of you who are using the new result-sorting feature: the sort order is now preserved the next time you start Punakea, so you don't have to set it again.

A long awaited and often requested feature has finally made its way into Punakea: sorting the results! Now you can change the order from the usual name-based sorting to sort-by-date (creation and modification), sort-by-size, sort-by-kind, sort-by-COLOR-AWESOMENESS ... *cough*. Yes, you can also sort by color label, and Punakea now also allows you to color your tagged files - be creative and stay organized at the same time! To make the sorting more effective, you can also toggle the grouping of results by type, and simply view the results as a long flat list.
