calm before the storm?

Oh macsterdam, didn't you have a look at our blog? We've released NNTagging framework as open source about two weeks ago. As for Punakea v0.3, we're in the final works. We're going to attend WWDC next month, so maybe there's something to be announced before June 11?... ;)

Sure, I did indeed see that. Very exciting news indeed, but less so for me as a user of Punakea. The .3 news is way more exciting. Need any new beta testers per chance? ;-)

Every one of you is a beta tester at the moment ;). But, seriously now, thanks for your offer! We are pushing hard to get this version out the door before the start of the WWDC. It is not ready for testing yet, but if we finish, it would be great to have some other people to hunt for bugs we missed. I'll put you on a list as potential beta-beta tester :)

beta beta-tester - sound fine with me. Thanks for the quick reply, look forward to the development of Punakea. Any chance of giving a hint regarding the way Punakea writes spotlight-comments. Wil that be changed in v.3?

Okay, great. We'll send you more information about beta testing most probably by the end of next week. The style of Spotlight comments was not in main focus for v0.3. We hope to get news about how to store tags in Leopard at WWDC, so hopefully we can use a more sophisticated Spotlight field in future versions. Anyway, there will be several other new features that you'll like! ;)
