Hi,
Brand new user here... and I'm really just starting to implement the tagging system, and Punakea is for now my favorite implementation of it.
I have noticed that when quicksilver is running in the background, Punakea tends to crash, or freeze, especially when tagging many files at once. During one of those freezes, if I kill QS via the terminal, Punakea recovers and does its job.
Any cues on what might be done to solve this, on the user's side? Or can the devs fix this?
Keep up the great work!

Hm, this is the first time I heard about this. Daniel (the other developer) is actively using QS, and has not had this problem yet. Very strange ... can you think of anything QS might be doing at the time it crashes Punakea?

That's a tough one... I hardly know what QS is up to most of the time. A wild guess would be that I have QS's Tag module on, and there might be a problem when both QS and Punakea are accessing files' metadata. Or both or either of those may be conflicting with Spotlight in a "bad ménage à trois"? Handwaving. But it is fairly easily reproducible bug on my machine (PB G4, 1.25GHz, 2MB). It does require dragging many (>100) files across to the sidebar. Other than that, I use Liquifile (www.iverse.org) for its flat browsing capabilities as a workaround for tagging nested folders, but I don't see how that could interfere. I'm not being very helpful, sorry...
Thanks for the additional
Thanks for the additional details, we will try to find out what causes this!
