I'd love to see a date slider that's on the scale of the timeline on the side of Time Machine. A bunch of notches going back the last seven days, then the last few weeks, then months. I'd be really awesome to have two sliders on the timeline and it narrows down the file list in realtime for files that fall in between those dates.

That's a nice request! I think this may really help to narrow down one's searches. We've already focused on certain features that we're going to implement within the next few weeks, so I've addressed this as nice-to-have on our list... ;)
