Currently when the sidebar is activated using the mouse, you are switched to the space (just to clarify, I'm talking about spaces in leopard) where punakea is currently running.
it would be nice to have the sidebar simply available in any space without having at switching back to a specific space when it is activated. It might also be nice to have a hotkey to activate the sidebar.

That one is a bit of a problem, as Punakea needs to become the active app when entering the sidebar. This causes spaces to switch to the right space. We'll have to see if we can work around this :)
About the hotkey: the sidebar is only useful when you are already using the mouse, so what good would a hotkey be? Maybe I just don't see the use here, would be nice if you told us :)
