I like to hide applications I'm not actively using, but this interferes with tagging via the sidebar.
I know that I can close the Browser to "hide" it, but it would be nice if the Browser could be hidden and the sidebar would still work.

you are right, if it's hidden it doesn't work anymore ... we don't see any way around that at the moment. I also usually hide my apps - but for Punakea, instead of using cmd+h to hide you can use cmd+w to simply close the browser, as you have already noticed.

I was able to hide the Icons I don't like to see.
Hope it will work with "Punakea".
(It was working for me but I just tested Punakea against Tags for a short time)
