What about automatically resizing the tag view (upper right view), so that we keep as much space as possible for the search results (in the lower right view) ? When the user does not have many tags (or the window size is big, there is many unused space taken by this view. Another solution (because users will many tags will not like this) would be to automatically resize if I double click on the separator between both views.

( I like how it is done in Finder after searching through the quick search box, as it allows to browse all PDF coverts in very high resolution). Saving this default size would also be really useful (btw, I'm really missing this option to save the size in the Finder, if anyone has a suggestion on how to do it ;).

That's great news about the thumb size - will it also be possible to view the full document name when moving the cursor over the document? That would be extremely helpful to me as I basically have to guess all the file names in PDF or image view.
I assume, this means quicklookis also a possibility for this view? That, of course, would be the ultimate for me: selecting a file, hitting the space-bar, and getting a quick-view of the file.
