Today I found 2 free metadata apps for OS X...

Tonight I ran across both Punakea and SpotMeta, which apparently just came out-

I will be trying both, but thought you might be interested to see this other one. Instead of using only the Spotlight Comments field, it allows you to create new metadata fields that can be accessed from Spotlight and Smart Searches.

The ability to create different meta fields (with different types of information) is very nice, but Punakea has many nice touches as well that SpotMeta lacks.

Both seem to be very nifty apps- just what I needed to help organize my files- thanks!!!

Gotcha, thanks. Having now

Glad you like it :)
