I'm curious about the development of Punakea. Are you still actively working on it? any news at all would be most welcome. Punakea 0.4 is still great, but I've become so used to the various features in Leopard, such as QuickLook, that I miss them in Punakea.
Hope to hear from you asap.
Thanks!

Hey,
well... honestly... I'm pretty sure we both love Punakea. Really, we do! The problem is that our studies (in particular: our theses) still take about five more weeks until we're done.
We've brainstormed several scenarios for Punakea. In theory, not only all major updates to the current app are already planned, but several far more interesting ideas have already come up.
We need to have a look on how we could do the implementation... Well, we probably should keep you better updated and write to our blog more regularly... ;)
Cheers,
Daniel
ah - good to 'hear from you
ah - good to 'hear from you again, and with some news as well, some good, some great.
I can understand your studies have priority, but as you mention already, posting something in your blog every now and then might help a lot, even if an update is not planned for release any time soon. I'm sure most people prefer hearing they have to wait a year to hearing very little at all.
the teaser-announcement sounds really exciting, do you have a time-frame in mind at all? Q1 or Q2 2009 perhaps? perhaps sooner? :D (just kidding) just pleased to read punakea isn't abandoned. I'll look forward to the updates & best of luck with the exams!
So, how about a New Year
So, how about a New Year update, maybe even with a roadmap and a few resolutions?
Now that you are done with your thesis and the celebrations may be a good time to give it a hard long look and decide whether you have the time and determination to continue developing it commercially (and commit to it)... otherwise just Open Source it and let it fly free!
Either way you will be making the world a better place...

I just made a donation and too would like an update, or see this application given to the OS community, appreciate the work you have done so far.
Well, the update might not
Well, the update might not be what you all have hoped for, but we'll keep at it, promise!
